Battleroyalefilm.com reports that the Battle Royale II DVD hit the shelves in Japan the 21st; Toei reopened its online store to sell BRII goods (no overseas orders, unfortunately). Want to see what you get in the Limited Edition Mission Box? One of the surprises appears to be the "lost class picture" previously seen only in fragments on the "Whitebook" cover and as a menu on the included DVD. Riki Takeuchi's spots for the DVD release can be downloaded in RealVideo format at the Toei BRII DVD website.
Nikkan Sports reports that Toei is donating 9 million yen from the revenue of BRII to children's cancer research, in memory of Kinji Fukasaku; Riki Takeuchi, Shugo Oshinari, and Kenta Fukasaku presented the check.
