Fangoria first reported during the Philadelphia Film Festival for a screening of his new shocker Toolbox Murders, Tobe Hooper revealed that his next movie will be a zombie opus called Mortuary. The project will reunite him with Toolbox producer Tony Didio and screenwriters Adam Gierasch and Jace Anderson, who scripted Toolbox as well as the director’s previous Crocodile.
For the record, Mortuary has nothing to do with the early-’80s film of the same name featuring Bill Paxton. Hooper’s Brew project has been put on the back burner for now and he has since left the Return of the Living Dead duel sequels.
